About Me.
As educators, we are blessed with the opportunity and privilege to positively influence the young minds that will ultimately shape our country, and this is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Entering my second year of teaching, I couldn't be happier with the environment and team that I've come into here at Bear Branch Junior High. I plan to utilize my teams extensive knowledge and experience to make sure that I grow as a teacher everyday in the classroom.
I plan to utilize technology, along with high energy/interactive lessons to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to understand our nation's great history. Together with my team, our goal is to make sure that students are not only prepared for their first Social Studies STAAR test, but that we lay the ground work to transition our students into well informed citizens.
I graduated from Texas A&M in Spring of 2017 with a degree in Political Science, and spent multiple years volunteering with different youth programs focused on economically disadvantaged neighborhoods before getting certified in Social Studies.
My wife and I both work in education and we've been married since June of 2017. Mrs. Feder teaches 2nd grade at Decker Prairie Elementary (Tomball ISD) and has been a big part of my transition into the education field. We love to travel, but often argue on where to go. She loves going to the beach, where I love going anywhere I can go snowboarding (she usually wins). We've lived in Tomball since we've been married, and we just recently bought our first house together. We love this area of town and look forward to making an impact on our communities.
